Sheffield Club Trial Report

The only BH on the day was Sara Mark and her new import dog Karn, the team gave a nice demonstration of control through the trial OB routine, and then no problems through the environmental / temperament testing. Well done to Sara and Karn.

In the Sch 1 Gitta was trialling her female Eesha, she started well with a steady performance in the tracking earning her 82, but unfortunately during her OB the picture went a little astray with a few control issues only neeting her 58 points, however she put a brave face on and managed a creditable 82 in phase ‘C’ , commiserations Gitta and better luck next time.

In Sch2 – There was Geoff Tordoff and Darren Hague with there dogs Bandit and Ursus, starting in the track with two nice performances , Bandit with a very nice performance of 98 points and Ursus putting a very good 94 in.

In phase B Geoff and Bandit gave a very good performance of 94 showing some nice OB with Darren and Ursus achieving a creditable 83 points.

In Phase C again a nice performance from both dogs with Geoff and Bandit gaining 90 points and Darren and Ursus getting a very good 93 points.

In Sch 3 – There was Jamie Bows and Glyn Andrew with there dogs Buck and Luke.

Jamie started very well with a very nice 96 points , but unfortunately Glyn and Luke although starting well struggling a little once into the track , but nonetheless managing to complete the round with 71 points.

In Phase B – Jamie and Buck gave another good performance achieving 90 points with Glyn and Luke achieving 83 points following a little trouble on the out phase of the final Dumbbell retrieve.

In Phase C, Jamie and Buck managed a good performance of 83 points giving a creditable score of 270 overall. Unfortunately for Glyn and Luke a tidy round of protection stumbled at the last hurdle, with the dog failing to out following the long flight.

We would like to pass on our thanks to Georg Zum Felde and Marcus Schafer for making the trip over from Germany and doing a very good job at the trial, we would also like to pass on our thanks to the members of the White Rose club who stepped in at the last moment following the loss of our regular trial field , your support was deeply appreciated by all involved in the trial.
